ABOUT US

About the Whole Home Fall Prevention Task Force

Our mission is to reduce falls and fall-related injuries in older adults though community collaboration, awareness, education and effective interventions.

Our goal is to reduce the number of fall-related injuries resulting in emergency department visits and hospitalization among residents of Greater Cincinnati.

The FPTF is composed of over 20 individuals and groups representing government agencies, not for profit organizations, hospital and healthcare professionals, businesses and academic institutions throughout greater Cincinnati. We provide programs, tools and assessments to keep older adults and other at-risk resident safe and secure from falling and possible injury.

We also have a speaker bureau to make presentations about awareness and other measures to keep people safe. We can provide tips, handouts and other materials to take home. To schedule a speaker please visit our speaker’s bureau page.

In all, the FPTF is all about safety and wellbeing. Providing the most up-to-date information available on how to prevent falls for more information, please call Nina Creech at 513-482-5126.
